Can I tile over vinyl flooring?

Yes you can tile over vinyl, within our Mapei range of products we use the SP Primer product which is applied to the surface then Mapei Kerabond and Islolastic is used for the adhesive to glue the tiles to the floor.

Do you install under floor heating?

Yes we install the Warmfloor brand of under floor heating systems,

This comprises of a flexible spiral wound resistance cable, earth shielded, which is laid on the floor starting 150mm out from the wall at 80mm spacing across the floor. A screed of levelling compound goes over the cable then the tile is installed directly over this using Mapei Kerabond and Isolastic. This adhesive will take the expansion and contraction as the floor warms and cools, the temperature of the floor is controlled by a Seimens seven day programmable thermostat which mounted on the wall usually next to a light switch. The thermostat is connected to a probe which is laid in the levelling compound with the heating cable.
